Sits Alone

She sits alone in her room
with tears upon her cheek
she can�t find her happiness
in a life that seems so bleak.

She wonders why her father left
and why her friends don�t care
she sits and wonders why
the man she loves is never there.

All alone she takes a blade
and pulls it across her wrist
she doesn�t want her heart to beat
she knows she won�t be missed.

She takes a sheet of paper
and on the floor she kneels
but she cant find the words
to tell people how she feels.

So she writes some simple words
and tucks it in her hand
she lies down on her bed
hoping the world will understand.

Her mother walks in the next day
and reads the paper with a sigh
she holds her daughters cold hand
and reads the simple words...
