Weeping Daughter

by AmazinglyEmpty   Jul 10, 2006

Slowly breathing,
Keeping track,
Slowly breathing,
Rubbing her back.

So scared and worried,
She asks for me,
So scared and worried,
Mommy do you love me?

A silent pause,
Why do you ask?
A silent pause,
Daddy said to ask.

A moment or two,
Do you mean him'
A moment or two,
Or do you mean you?

A tear gently falls,
I'm not really sure,
A tear gently falls,
It\'s kinda a blur.

She gently blinks,
So what will it be?
She gently blinks,
Will it be him,
or will it be me?

I\'m exhausted and sad,
Don't think that way,
I\'m exhausted and sad,
I love you both, everyday.
