The last slash

by Sarah   Jul 10, 2006

Catch your breath
Screem outloud against the wall
Let the memories flow through your veins
Each cut becoming deeper and deeper
I try to imagine the day you slip
The white dove
The sun shining on its face
Your sick and tired
The airs become thin
You take a gasp, but nothing clears
Your back to where you started
Flowing in circles drowning in the blood
A tear drops from your face
But what does that mean?
Your scared? But arnt we all?
I cant even see the tears for the pain your suffering
Your becoming pale
Every shade you turn takes a year off your life
From my guessing you dont have long left
You tore down your defenses
What if one day i woke up to a call
I would hang on waiting for someone to talk
Then after ten minutes
I hear something
A heartbeat
It sounds strange though, almost like a drip
This cant be right
Then i hear one last slash
The heartbeat i heard was the pulse in your body
Pumping out all the blood
Its so rapid you cant stop it now
But now your white
Does that mean your gone?
