THE BIPOLAR CHILD

by clevername   Jul 10, 2006

One minute I'm up
and the next minute I'm down
One minute i smile
and the next minute i frown

See, i Know you're the doctor
and I'm not your nurse
But why was a i born with this horrible curse?

If there's one question you could answer me
To a child who's so frail
If you were my Jeanie who wore a great veil
You'd say "I'll give you one question, one wish you want answering..."

"my Jeanie... i want to know why i was made this way...
why i sit at home and cry each day"

See, i know you're the doctor
and I'm not your nurse
But why was I born with this horrible curse?

One minute I'm wild
and the next minute I'm moody
One minute I'm tired
and the next minute I'm gloomy

Please lord give me an answer
To a curse you put on children??

Please lord give me an answer to a curse you put on all??

I know I'm not the only who has suffered with great pain..
and I know I'm not the only... who has stiffeled, been enraged

but that's no reason to label me a disease
To take me to doctors...as a patient with no knees

I'm not a person who has no backbone
I stand up straight, like a grand stone

And i know those school teachers wouldn't quit call me a glower
But thats no reason to label me BIPOLAR
