When we met

The feeling I have when with you,
almost seems too good to be true.
Upon first meeting, I knew right away,
that this just may be, my luckiest day.
You were nice, funny, and very pretty,
very special, as anyone could see.
We talked, and more about each other's lives, learned,
and soon, one another's liking, we had earned.
In the times you were sad, I offered my comfort,
as I cared enough, to always help when you hurt.
For each other, our feelings grew,
and so my thoughts, now dwell on you.
And so, indeed a great thing, was the day marking our meeting.
as now, for each other, our feelings are forever growing.
