A suicide unnoticed

by CourtneyLouxxx   Jul 11, 2006

A suicide unnoticed
A past she now fears
A life full of torture
As she cries her last tears

A pain that is soon forgotten
A heart that will break
A painful regret in her past
A happiness she did make

All alone at night
A blade clutched in her hand
Tears rolling down her cheeks
As she leaves her last brand

A broken hearted cut
A bucket full of tears
A blood stained letter
She finally left her fears

Her life is not worth living
No one will even care if she dies
I bet not one will notice
Or take effect of this suicide

A path she left unlived
The sad life she chose to take
One person wrecked her happiness
A million cuts she will make

And not once will she begin to regret
As the blade slices her arm
Deeper into her flesh
Killing herself by self harm

Wow, such a sad/dark poem. Very well written though. The last stanza was really good, gave me full visual image in my head. Excellent job. Keep it up, and thanks for your comment. 5/5

You are a truly gifted writer. The art of your words cut through the barrier of thoughts that say this is just another teenager with a keyboard and free time. You can go places with your talent. The only thing I would suggest is to choose words and phrases that would make you poem flow better. To achieve this, after writing the poem read it a loud and see if there are any awkward places. It is amazing though!
