No Colors

by Pretend--ToLoveMe   Jul 11, 2006

Black and white becomes the night,
The grays have fully withdrawn.
The act of violence has pushed it's way through
And no ones seems to know what to do.

It's hollow inside, but the walls will not break.
The thickness is overwhelming as I gaze through the looking glass.
My cage is so hollow,
So cold and so dim
But I am the only one who knows what's within.

The pain it sharpens as the night goes on,
What is now creeping? It's morning, it's dawn.
The walls are now black and it's shadow now white.
Through the looking glass I watch as the days move on.
And you are all that I can look upon.

It seems to make more since only in my minds eye,
But all I see and feel I have to deny.
The pain never seems to dull
And my actions seem to rash
My heart it skip's it's beat,
And now I can't feel my feet.

I have lost track of time as night comes again.
Coming closer, like an old dear friend.
The night, it is white and it is black
The grays have withdrawn
And now more than ever I have to move on.
