Where You Are

There lies a poem inside this bouquet of flowers.
A poem whose lines send off enchanting powers.
While reading this you'll feel tears start to descend.
Running down your cheek, to the ground they're sent.
As the puddle of tears starts to enlarge
So do the feelings I have within my heart.
I see the beautiful girl behind those brown eyes,
Even through all of those lonely out-cries.
When you're angry, I'm trying to calm you down.
When I'm angry, you turn it all around.
Just like that, you know exactly what to say,
To make my horrible last hours, become a great day.
When you're alone, I'm just as lonely.
When you're happy, we're both just as happy.
When you're upset, I'm just as upset.
But one important fact we shouldn't forget,
Is that all that there is a perfectly logical reason behind all of this.
From that very day we shared that mesmerizing kiss,
My life has been blooming more than the flowers of spring.
It's been brighter then the sun that shines in the summer-time heating.
Never once do I remember it being as cold as the winter snow
Because as the perfect couple we are, we both know
How to treat each other and keep the relationship strong
In order for nothing to ever go wrong.
A lot of the time, it's as colorful as the leaves in the fall,
But last time I checked, we're brighter, more colorful, I remember it all.
From the day we first met
To the day we both told our regrets.
From the day we first realized who we need to be with
To the day we gave each other that life changing kiss.
I'll always remember the new life you've given me,
Just like I'll always remember the way this relationship will always be.
