In this world there will always be
Darkness beyond the light,
A downside to every happy ending.
Although we may not be able to see it,
It will always be there,
To haunt us at the worst time.
All the good things in life
Slowly fade away,
But we don't realize it.
We just think
All of them will stay forever.
Nothing in life will ever be perfect,
And no matter how long we try
To believe that maybe it will,
In the end,
Everything will still be the same.
And the horrible things
Awaiting every person
Will continue to remain unseen,
Until they have the chance
