Counting down

by Liz   Jul 13, 2006

Nine days left,
Until we meet at last,
Smiles plaster my face,
The day is approaching, fast.

Eight days to go,
I'm nervous and excited,
I can't stop thinking,
About when our bodies are united.

Only seven more days,
Thats only a week,
The thought of your body,
Makes my limbs go weak.

Just six days left,
Thats not very long,
It is when you're waiting,
For arms where you belong.

Five more days,
And my dreams will come true,
I will be warm in my bed,
Cuddling right up to you.

Four days left,
Thats one, two, three, four,
Thats nothing at all,
Until you're outside my door.

Just three more days,
And I can be happy again,
I can smile in the sun,
And smile in the rain.

Two days,
One, two,
Not tomorrow, the day after,
thats just one, two.

One more day,
Tomorrow,
One day of sadness,
One day of sorrow.

Today is the day,
When I meet you at last,
Today it is present,
But tomorrow it will be past.
