Hide and Seek

by Liz   Mar 24, 2006

If it weren't for you,
I wouldn't be here,
I would be six feet under,
With the dirt and the worms,
Where i belong.

I smile when I hear your name,
I'm warm when I am near you,
And I wouldn't be warm at all,
If it wasn't for you.

I love you more than you could imagine,
Though I know by being here,
It is causing me pain,
You take it all away,
You make it all ok,
But it is still hurting deep down, and you don't see.

I hide it all from you,
I want to let it free,
I want to show you the truth of my tears,
I love you,
But you're hurting me still.
