Please

The arguments have ceased.
He has gone.
Eerie calm descends.
Eye of the storm.
More to come.

Mummy can't cope. Poor crippled thing.
Useless legs, confined to a chair.
Poor children need a stable home.
Daddy has money, job, big house.
Family ideal.
Case closed.

Rabbit in the headlights.
No where to run.
Brave soldier with sword raised
hide behind me and I will defend you sister.
Fear not mummy, they shall not snatch us.

I must stay strong.
They must not send me to the lions den.
His silver cannot buy my loyalty.
I will show them his true nature Fiendish wolf in sheep's clothes.

I am big. I am nine.
I will defy them to tear me from my mother's breast.
Will never dwell in the lions den.
A meaningless trophy of a bitter victory.

Let it be over.
Remove me from the microscope
and let me live in peace.
Leave me with mummy.
Please.

Very nice job on this one. You sound like you know a lot of what you're talking about for this type of poem. I love the passion you put into writing it. Good job!
