How Come?

by ...Vince...   Jul 13, 2006

How can the world be so lonely,
If there are so many people in it?
How can so many people hate me?
Some of them don't even know me,

How come birds fly away when I walk by,
How come you only realize what you have when it's gone,
Because I never knew who I was,
Until now.

If the world could just change,
Right now it's all so strange,
I'm like the one rock in the river the water doesn't flow around but over,
Or like the one child without his mother.

The carousel turns the wrong way,
All the children go away,
When I go on.
All alone,
With no one.

I am my worst enemy,
My life is a tragedy,
Go ahead name one quality,
I can't, that's reality.

This poem might not be as good as the other poems I've written because I was not really thinking about the flow of it. So don't mention the flow in your comments, I will edit it later...
