As I Lay Crying

As I lay crying
The world begins to fade
I can't hear or see anything
Except the mess that I have made

It tears me up inside
The pain I can't control
Everything comes flooding back
The sheets I tightly hold

Drenched in sweat and tears
Balling my fists and hitting my bed
Shouting out at nothing
In the pillows I bury my head

I wont open my eyes
Because then I'll know this is no dream
I'm scared and I'm tired
No more strength to even scream
