White Rain

by Christina   Jul 13, 2006

It's raining and normally I would hope the fresh tears would clense me.
But the dirt washed away will reveal the scrapes and cuts in me.
They aren't open I know they are filled with mud.
Whenever I try to pry the mess out the holes get bigger and worse.
I scramble in the mud after the shower to find something to wipe my face.
I am offered a towel damp with rain.
