In Her Mind

by Marie   Jul 14, 2006

Inside she quietly screams and shouts, suffering
As she tries to reach out so she can find a way
of how to forget about today
cuz it's too much to bare and she wants to let go,
but she doesn't know which path to follow.

Now she's trapped inside as she slowly collides
with her mind mystified.
But it's been left unsolved
of the way this commotion has evolved.

And so she cries out for help, but no one can hear
though the sound of her heart, is beating so clear.
Closing her eyes, she wants to escape,
but how can she run away from her fate?
And and all these problems that are coming along;
everywhere she goes, just seems to be wrong

She's standing still as everything spins;
she needs to get out, but can't find where to begin.
So she holds herself up and continues to fight,
in a fog of mystery, blurring her sight

As voices within are draining her ears
and she's wishing that things would just disappear;
so she'd be left alone, where no one would know;
trying to seek, her own way to go.

But she realizes, the only path to take
is the one she'll see, when she's finally awake;
out of this dream that she's made in her head,
as reality's lies, have built up instead.

She's trying to leave, this world she's devised,
but she'll be trapped, in what she denies.
So she's fighting the battle, she tried to abstain
and in her mind, she no longer remains.
