In the Night

Late in the wanders of the night
I stare at the clock 2:34 am
A vision of you and I
Pops into my head

Im becoming restless
As Im trying to fall fast asleep
Give me a promise
It ll be one I ll always keep

Something about you
Draws me to you so quickly
Controlling an ache in my heart
It moves subtle, yet so swiftly

I gasp the night away
With small trembled sighs
I simply cannot sleep
Without your scent, that gets me high

    I think this was really sweet. Kind of short, but, sweet. I like how you`ve dedicated it to someone. The rhyming in the first stanza was a little confusing, but the rest of it worked out well. And the flow throughout the poem was perfect. Great job. 5/5
