Heavy as my Heart

by Clarissa   Jan 2, 2007

I have yearned and wanted
Dreamt for you, for too long
This confliction among us
Flowed like an imperfect song

Our daggered looks
I beamed at you like sunlight
No matter how much itd hurt
I crawled back with such contrite

These thoughts of you
They stumble upon me
Heavy lock and heavy chain
And it is she

A weight so heavy
An attraction too deep
Isolation to the world
Thats when the tears seep

I like this poem even more than the last. They kind of have the same theme, but it's really good. I could definitley relate.
