Broken Heart

by Jena   Jul 16, 2006

People probably don't know
what's going on inside.
I stand tall, hide with laughs
and have a lot of pride.
But if you could see the inside
if you could see the heartache,
if you could just see,
you would see a broken child inside of me.
You may think my life is great,
"She has no problem,
her life is straight."
I could prove you wrong.
This heart of mine is broken
its been ripped and teared.
So many tears have fell, I swear.
Unbearable pain, or so it felt,
to my knees I should have knelt.
I felt so alone,
all by myself.
Even my friends gave up
when I fell.
My father doesn't love me,
My friends seem to hate me,
My mother gets mad at me
because I don't know,
I don't know what's going on
it's a roller coaster in there.
I would tell you if I knew,
I promise,
I swear!
I wish it would just go away.
I could lock it out
and there it would stay.
I wish my father love me,
like father's should.
I wish my friends would be here,
just sit and listen if they could.
And mother don't get mad,
understand if you would.
Because you people make it worse.
You make the pain have no end.
I don't want this broken heart
I wish I could just have a fresh start.
This child's heart has been ripped apart.
But then agian who cares about me.
Oh this place I wish I could flee.
Oh Lord fix me,
I have been torn apart.
Lord please,
just give me a fresh start.
Because I cant live,
with a broken heart.
