The Hole In Our Love That Lets The Rain In.

by Sophi[e]   Jul 16, 2006

As the rain drips
And the sky becomes darker
You watch my lips
And our bodies get closer.

Worried about my weight
I softly sit on your knee
The day was getting late
I notice everything around me.

They all sit around the fire
Whilst we sit in silence
My hands covering you getting higher
I feel your stomach tense.

Your eyes fill with color
As I fulfill all your dreams
Not caring for any other
The air is just like steam.

Finally we are being social
We freeze under covers we receive
Catching my eye you look hopeful
Like I wont ever finally leave.

You are living here.
Family are living there.
I want to hold you near
Whilst you play with my hair.

This is a complete disaster
I don't want to ever go
All is shaken off with laughter
But we can see I've hit my low.

The rain hitting us hard
But we still stand
Don't worry I'll send a card
As soon as I land.

I'll remember this spot
On grass so green we try to hide
Cuddles I wish I forgot
Is this the other side?

The grass is so green
And the sunrise so perfect
We make an ideal team
I'm a hopeless romantic.
