A Sacrifice of Mercy and Grace

by Avrii Monrielle   Jul 17, 2006

God includes us in his script
No matter what size a role we have to play
He can lift us up into the heavens
Unearth us from a watery grave

We can sin the darkest sin
And be forgiven for what we did
The way Jesus wants us to be
Is be innocent as little kids

He shed his holy blood for us
To get rid of all our sins
He gave us the choice of eternal life
A very special gift

God didn't make us sacrifice
Our bones for unconditional love
He gave us our necessities
And stored our true treasures in heaven above

We didn't have to die
With empty, cold, dark lives
We were given the ultimate sacrifice
Jesus paid the price

He was laid on a cross where his father did mourn
Pained from the sins of this world
But 3 days later did all rejoice
Not one innocent soul did hurt

Today those who believe live
Together, in their faith
Mercy shed on their souls
Redeemed by God's grace

Amen! Its so hard to find people who write these kind of poems anymore...which completly sucks..Its good to see when your writing you don't hind your fatih, you don't care if people give you negative feedback, just keep proclaiming good words about our lord Jesus and you will be rewarded!! I loved this poem...no lower then a 5!

P.S would love your feedback on "The green candle in the window"
