Never going back

A friendship i lost
Sometime ago
And for some reason
I didn't even know

That i would lose it fast
Seemed like yesterday
Back in 5th grade
But it all went away

I don't know how
I don't know why
I guess i moved on
Without a tear to cry

Growing up quick
In the thought of my mind
Thinking of my past
Constantly all the time

We all use to laugh
We all use to smile
Finding ways to have fun
All through the while

Things got confusing
And the friendship is gone
Your probably sitting there
Wondering whats going on

Ill tell you words
That you might understand
So read this poem
And unfold your hand

It didn't seem to work
All the times we would fight
None of us were wrong
And none of us were right

We will always know
That we were once young
Did the things we did
And always had fun

But the memories are over
Theres no going back
Its kind of sad
Once you think of all that
