Opening my eyes to a world unseen
once had an image of it
everything was so serene
but now i can see through the fog that once hide
it's beauty
i can walk on the water that threaten to drown me
walking farther and liking what i see
everyone had gone but i was to afraid to follow
went at my own pace
until the road became shallow
and i lived through the days of darkness and so self absorb
living the depression handling the bad Storm
then he appeared, he was that little light that gave me hope
awake feelings that were forgotten and old
enjoying the sensation and moods that it bring
leaving behind the sadness and the emptiness within
wanting human comfort something
friends aren't able to give
and wanting love, as i start to pull the string
the line that takes me closer to things i want forfilled
and to this i still haven't yet discovered
how long it will last a question left unanswered
but a dream worth living, and a heart left unbroken
