It's not what it seems

by serenity   Dec 5, 2004

Does her bright blue eyes impress you?
She tells you all the things you want to hear.
Whatever she wants you do,
But you only dream of coming near.

Her red lips are tempting.
Her kiss made of lies
You know what she’s expecting.
But in her world someone lives and someone dies.

Her white skin is made of dry ice.
She’s an eagle she’s free.
Her life seems like paradise,
She’s not all she claims to be.

The stars she stands on are not real.
She has no soul she does not feel.
She acts out her life, when it’s really an ordeal.
People only make her worse she has no time to heal.
Living a life in her world seems like a curse.
But it could be so much worse.
