The Vampire

by TheSickness   Jul 20, 2006

This is the end
You've cornered me in
Your eyes are so cold
and evil as sin

Laughing inside those dead faded eyes
"Dear girl why do you look so surprised?"

"Just moments ago my life was just fine..."

"But my life is yours, and yours is mine."

"You being here is a sign of my death,"
I said with a sob, and I held my breath

"If you just give up, then where is the thrill?"
You reply with a smirk and a look that could kill

Before I could answer, you stopped and then sigh
"No, it's not yet your time to die..."
You walk to the table and put your cloak on

The candle soon dies
And I know that you're gone
