The Chamber

by TheSickness   Mar 1, 2007

I was imprisoned for many years
The chamber heard my cry
And silently it listened
As time kept passing by

When I shout out in despair
It echoes back to me
My companion was a listener
Who heard but couldnt see

And what if it did?
How kind, could it be?
Would it right what it had wronged?
And in the end, would it set me free?

But I am bound to the stone
With a pain in my heart
This cell gives no ending
And leaves no room to start

As I am caged into this chamber
And bound up by the hand
I sit in hell with a listener
That will never understand
