The Doors

by Shari X Insanity   Jul 20, 2006

Every day is the same
I'm looking at life as if it was a game (Or Test)
Test of how you'll survive (In life)
But to me, I feel like I'm walking through a door
And in that door is many more
I get lost. Trying to find my way
Through the doors that never end

Where am I?
Where did I go?
I was here, but after I changed
I disappeared

Where am I?
Where did I go?
I'm lost in my shadow
I'm walking through a door
And then through that door is the maze that gets me trapped.

People around me are laughing. And wish I can tune them out.
Whispering of how big of a fool I am.
While I'm lost like crazy to figure out where i stand
Through the doors that never end

People picked up the pieces that I dropped along the way
And they try to paste them all back together again to fit the puzzle.
So they can also find out who i really am in this jungle we call life.
Inside this prison the principal calls middle school.

I'm walking through a door
And then inside the four walled room are many more
Where did I go?
I'm lost in my shadow
Trying to find my way home. The place that I call paradise and safety. Where no one can touch me.

Who am I?
Where did I go?
I was here but after I changed
I disappeared.
