No Good In Goodbye

by Ms Joanna Dark   Jul 20, 2006

You could always make me smile
When I had tears in my eyes
But how can I smile now
When we're saying goodbyes

There's nothing left here for me
After you leave and walk away
And I don't want to let you go
But I just can't make you stay

Tears slowly trickle down my face
Remembering promises you made
The broken words stab my heart
As our memories begin to fade

Tell me the way to forget you
So I won't hurt like this anymore
I'll leave this place of memories
Stopping only to lock the door

WOw. That was really good. Usually I pick my fav parts but I can't do that with this poem, I like it all equally and quite alot. I thought your flow and rhyming were pretty good too. Keep it up! 5/5
