Suicide, Suicide

by Willow   Jul 21, 2006

"Suicide, Suicide!"
I can hear you call.
"I'm nothing to this world,
So into a grave, let me fall."

I beg you to not do this,
And I beg you to not leave me.
Be strong and live on,
And don't be a fool to think suicide will let you be free.

"Suicide, Suicide!"
I can hear you plead.
"I don't want to hurt anyone anymore,
So pluck me from this world like an unwanted weed."

You'll hurt us more if you leave,
And if you paid attention,
You'll notice its the people you hurt,
That are offering love and affection.

"Suicide, Suicide!"
I can hear you cry.
"Let me right this wrong,
Don't let me live, I want to die."

You'll make another mistake if you leave like this,
And two wrongs don't make a right.
Take my hand so I can lead you towards happy days,
Please take my hand so your future with us comes into clear sight.

"Suicide, Suicide!"
I can hear you continually say.
"I really want to die,
So please take me away."

Why won't you listen to me?
I'm trying to help you.
This is not how you solve things,
And there is so much in life you can do.

"Suicide, Suicide!"
I can hear you shout.
"Don't be mean by letting me live,
Help me remove this black cloud of doubt."

Oh please, oh please,
Don't do this to yourself or me.
Don't waste such a beautiful life,
And don't think suicide will set your empty soul free.
