My Little Angel

A little light goes out
A healing wondering creature
Never asked for anything
Gave all she had

Never got what she deserved
A little angel watching over me
Her life filled eyes dulled over
Her last breath took in my arms

My little ray of light
Guiding me through to another day
Always there if I fell

My little angel
Flying high and away from here
Back in a place where she can be free
I know a little angel is watching over me

Now its time to say good-bye
And I cant bring myself to place her in the ground
Maybe its selfish of me but I want her back
Back with me where she belongs
