Different Way Of Beautiful

People say I'm beautiful,
But in a different way
They say i'm beautiful on the inside
But what do I say?
Thank you, i guess
But do you know how much I'd pay
To not have to deal with all the stress
The rude remarks, comments, chants
Well you get the rest

If only I was pretty
Not in a different way
I'm talking about being pretty
And I know what your going to say

"It doesn't matter about looks"
"Its only on the inside that matters"
I believe it for a while
But when that special guy says something too
And it makes it hard to keep a smile
And that's when my belief shatters

It's like "I get it, I'm gross"
"Or at least ya'll think so"
But is it really necessary
To have to rub it in
I just wish people didn't care
About the features of and upon peoples' skin
