Wow, that was an eye opener of a poem Kaylee. What a tragic story, and what makes it even worst, is the time of year. It's suppose to be a time of joy and laughter, but through this poem you feel the pain and sadness. Wow, that one got to me. Well, thanks for not posting this one near Christmas time, because I would have been crying. Good work.

That was a sweet poem love, with a diction that let sorrow and the mother's tears just slip out of the words you wrote. Quite a beautiful momument to those people who are now lost.

    Kaylee --
This was great. I completely remember the Laci Peterson tragedy, and I`m really surprised to see that you wrote a poem about it. The whole mess was a great deal, two people lost their lives, and writing this poem was a great idea on your part. The flow and rhyming throughout the poem was great, and I really enjoyed reading it. Keep it up. 5/5

This story, a tragic one, was greatly expressed in this poem. I could feel the saddness and the profound meaning - the meaning of love that was formed, but never got to be touched. A sad, sad story. The lines were greatly put together, and I like how I could just view this as if I was standing right next to the missing women and her unborn child. Great job...

The sadness her family must feel to know that Lacy never got to hold Conner. The way you wrote of him in
her arms is comforting. This poem does what poems should do....Make you feel!

5/5.. Now I understood what you were saying in this poem. I loved it. And sadly yes, Conner lost his life before he even lived it.
