Mother Earth

by Dana   Jul 24, 2006

Oh dancing willow,
enlighten me with thy weeps.
Don't hide your sorrows,
your secrets are mine to keep.

Oh blazing fire,
drench my hand with flames of fury.
Burn me with thy angst,
take it all out on me.

Oh swelling water,
give unto me your pain.
Drown me with thy burden,
to heal is main.

Oh lonely gust,
fill me with thy forsaken air
I blow thee with a sense of belonging,
I will not leave you alone there.

Mother earth,
healer of the world.
My name,
my quest,
my gift.

I like this, you have taken a unique approach to the topic... I like how the stanzas split it into different sections in nature... Nice work take care 5/5
