True friends

Dear God, please help me...
none of them can truly see
what lies behinds the smile on my face,
all the pain that i wish to erase
i wish one of them would ask me whats wrong
and then i wouldn't have to act so strong
and make believe that i really belong
dear God please make them see
everything that i'm hiding inside of me
all of the tears and all of these fears
that i wish would just disappear...
if they are truly my friends,
wouldn't they sense that something is wrong?
or am i just a burden that they carry around all year long?
maybe i'd be better off alone...
with friends like these,
no wonder i'm slowly going crazy!
