Tainted Wrists; Your Standing Ovation.

by christina marie   Jul 25, 2006

Death is quite fitting tonight.
Stick your fingers in my skin,
Feel the goose bumps that you give me.
Feel the shivers, down my spine.

Take your blow, baby,
Lash your viscous tongue at me.
Cut me down with your precious words.
Have me fall at your “I love you”.

Time is slowly ticking,
Like a bomb about to erupt.
Corrode my already decayed heart,
This is what you want, right?

Run your hands down my veins,
Feel these retched scars you left me.
Every cut, every memory,
My body is your life’s story.

Drag your dagger of lies down this fragile body.
Tear my heart, limb for limb.
Baby, tell me, is this how you pictured it?
Me falling down to you, like always?

Bring me down to my knees,
With your hand on the trigger.
Baby, blow my mind to pieces;
It wouldn’t be the first time.

Take your grand finale,
C o c k the gun and pull the trigger.
Here’s your standing ovation;
I’m clapping my tainted wrists for you.

Can’t you see?

Death is quite fitting tonight.
Stick your fingers in my skin,
Feel the goose bumps that you give me.
Feel the shivers, down my spine.
