Friendship Turned Into Hate

I've lost my best friend
And all to a guy
She doesn't even care it's come to an end

This guy treated her like sh!t
He told her he loved her
He told her the whole bit

To marry him is her dream
And even though he would say the same
It was all just part of his little scheme

He wants to get her into bed
He wants to take advantage of her
But this he would leave unsaid

Her friends know that in the end
She's gonna get hurt
She'll lose her "boyfriend"

All he tells her are stories and lies
Stories that weren't true
Yet when he told them he'd look her in the eyes

Then one day to much of her surprise
He left her for someone else
Now all she does is cries

Her friends would tell her to just move on
He had found someone else Everything they had is gone

He told her he never loved her That they would never have a future together
This he was very sure

Yet he still plays with her heart
And messes with her head
Just like he has from the very start

She still refuses to see who he really is
She still wants him back
She misses his kiss

Though he'll never take her back
Cause she doesn't put out
I don't doubt he still tries to get her in the sack

She says she'd do anything
This is what she tells her friends
IN hope him and this new girl are just a fling

Her friends are worried about how far she'll go
Will she sleep with him?
Will she stoop that low?

No one really knows
But everyone waits and watches
Just to see how it all goes

But no one else was brave enough but me
To tell her the mistake she was making
To try to make her see

I told her how he was just a man behind a mask
That he's just a deceitful liar in disguise
Why she still want to be w/him is all I ask

But now I've lost any chance
To prevent her from doing something she'll regret
Cause now we don't even give each other the slightest glance

All I want is to protect her
From doing something
Something she's not ready for

But now it's too late
And I'm not sure if things can be fixed
Our friendship has now turned into HATE! :(
