Her Prince

by sarah   Jul 25, 2006

This is a story
Of a young girl
Who found her Prince
She called him her pearl

He made her feel happy
When she was down
Because of him
She never wore a frown

Except when she was alone
All cold in her room
He thought she was fine
Thats what he'd assume

Why didn't he notice?
She always wore long sleeves
Never showing her skin
She'd hide under the leaves

When they were together
They had the most amazing time
On a calm sunny day
He gave her the most beautiful blue dime

She treasured it with her heart
Carrying it night and day
There was nothing she could do for him
Nothing to repay

But one day he found out
What was really going on
He went over to her house
And found that she was gone

There was only a note
Folded up nice and tight
He opened it up
And it revealed her fight

' To my dearest friend
I cannot keep lying
This is where I belong
I am no longer crying

Please don't be sad
I know that you care
Even though you cant see me
I will always be there

Know that I love you
I have always since
I leave you now
Forever, my Prince '

Her body was later found
Time was what it took
It tore him apart
He couldn't help but look

She had never looked so peaceful
As he stroked her cold face
A tear dropped from his eye
Onto her dress made from lace

Then as he touched her hand
He could only think about her crime
He felt something in her palm
Inside the blue dime
