Helping by Hurting

by Jae   Jul 26, 2006

Whats this suffocation,
Holding me down?
Not passion, life, or love,
But anger, ridicule, and dissappointment.
You sit by and push me,
But it is not encouragement,
It is force and fear.
You think it helps.
Does some.
It makes me stronger.
But at the same time, it hurts like hell.
It burns,
It suffocates,
It is mindless.
You call yourself a friend,
A role-model?
Shit, all you are is a pain.
A burn.
A bruise.
All you are doing is making it harder.
Harder to breathe,
Harder to sleep,
Harder to live.
You still call yourself a friend?
Thats something you might wanna rethink....
