Couldn't take life anymore

by Jennifer   Jul 26, 2006

She was a young girl
About fifteen
She had many friends
That everyone had seen

Those who knew her
Say she had the perfect life
But she didn't think so
That's why her best friend, was a knife

She always pretended to be happy
So that no one knew
Knew about what she did
Or what she went through

No one saw it coming
Not even the one she adored
But she had to do it
Because she couldn't take life anymore

She took the knife to her wrist
Letting the blood run out
She knew it hurt badly
But she refused to shout

Why would she take her own life?
Nobody ever found out why
All they knew is
She must have been ready to die
