The River

by Scott Dalziel   Jul 26, 2006

Surreal dreams of love and hate,
Long lost thoughts of seamless fate,
Flow together like a raging river of forgotten forms.

Youth and laughter long since past,
Innocences beyond my grasp,
Flowing faster down the river while my life gets raped and torn.

Masochistic instincts found,
Playing on forbidden ground,
Chaos forms inside the river splitting paths and spawning tears.

Angelic forces dark as night,
Mesmerizing rays of light,
Merge outside the rivers end for memories of forgotten years.
