Fire In Me

by Ana   Jul 27, 2006

Fiery passion in the night
Flickers with all of its strength
It's trying so hard to live
Which it will do at any length

The stars are the only other light
The moon is too sickly to see
For as it floats from behind its cloud
It cannot reach down to me

The wrinkles of the water are glowing
Adding a gentle love song
For the only other sounds present
Play the love tune with every note wrong

The fell of the soft wind refreshes
The smell of the smoke drowns me out
And I sway ad if I were a stoner
Couldn't tell you what this was about

With a howl as strong as a wolf's
The wind kills the flickering flame
The water stops its gentle lapping
And I swear that I go insane
