For Your Magesty

by Wings Of Flames   Jul 27, 2006

I bow to the King and Queen,
On a throne of majestic gold,
I vow to them I do not plea,
'Tempt me this fate I hold.'

They cackle and simply push me down,
And await my final last,
I then rest my head to the floor,
Then blank of all my past,

Execution of this love,
I hold for dearest friend,
But a soul I haven't found,
Although of mine she'd lend,

Man in dark with a covered face,
Hands clasped around his tool,
Razor slices upon my neck,
It's the end of this petty fool,

Upon my knees I bowed again,
For I wished and now in death,
Upon his uprising swing,
I know this was my last of breath.

"I know this was my last of breath."
[I think you should write "I know this was my final breath"] To me it sounded better. Great poem, I liked it all the way through. Was very dark indeed. Interesting piece.
