My Darkest Hour

by Little Sin   Jul 28, 2006

Never able to forget, the darkest hour of my life.
The knife clutched in my hands, my legs trembling as I stand.
Caught up in a fantasy land, at war, in my head.
Could sworn the devil, was at the foot of my bed.
Wrote a bible of my own, and this is what it read.
"To sacrifice two souls, so the demons, who possessed me, would be nicely feed."
I think to myself again, is that really what I said?
How could all of this have lead, to such violent pretend?
That dream became a reality, causing me to be crippled by insanity.
For a moment, lost my humanity, meet my split personality.
It told me that, it called itself, the nameless one.
Made me go beyond childish fun, made take my murder instinct for a test run.
Satan`s eerie melody, in my ears, skipped a note and made me realize what I had just done.
I was one inch away, from shortening your stay in life.
This bitter, invoke image in my mind, of your blood running down your neck.
All the memories of the past begin to beckon upon me, but the demons never left.
I am the wretched, and the world has no trouble believing it.
