You taunted me
for all my life
when you’d tease me
I’d take a knife.

I’d dig it in
when you’d call me a name
it hurt me like hell
to you it was a game.

But now you regret it
when you found me on the floor
you can’t hurt me
not now, no more.

it’s a short one it’s true
think before you act
