If I Was A Car

by Lorraine Samwell   Jul 30, 2006

If I was a car,
Would you clutch me tight?
If you were a break,
And you saw me walk in front,
Would you stop???
All of a sudden, I was gone,
And now I cant say sorry,
I'm gone in a single flash of light,
And now all of a sudden I'm in flight,
But I'm going the wrong way,
Down instead of up,
Just because I didn’t get to say sorry.

A little while ago,
We were a very happy couple,
But now im gone,
We can’t be together,
But maybe if you were to join me,
In the darkest of the night,
Come and fly down into the ground,
Then I can be sorry,
And we’ll be together again.

My wings will change from flames to gold,
And I shall rise to the sky….
The place I should be with you.
But for this to happen,
You will have to end your life,
Will you do this for me???

If you don’t, it will be as if you wanted to kill me,
It will haunt you for the rest of your life,
But if you come and join me,
We will be as happy as we can be,
And this time it will be forever,
Until we are re-created,
And god decides a new life and future for us,
Then we shall have to say goodbye,
Goodbye for good,
So now I shall go,
Good night and god bless.
