Emotionless Pain

by BrokenHeartAttack   Jul 30, 2006

My heart,
a bleeding vessel torn apart,
feels like it was ripped to shreads.
I asked for love, got pain instead,
and now I drown myself in tears,
loneliness grows with my fears.
I look down at untouched skin,
and think about my pain within.
I try to fight the awful urge.
I try not to let the blood emerge,
but temptation is strong, like the love we once had.
I'm sick of all the crying, I'm sick of being sad.
I want to forget about my love,
but I can't quit thinking of "all of the above".
maybe I'll give in to temptation,
since my life is filled with so much emotion.
So I sit and write this while starting to cry.
Wow! It's hard to write when you've got tears in your eyes.
