Love whispers in your ear,
but you don't hear it.
wears an expensive perfume,
but you don't smell it.
kisses you precious lips,
but you don't taste it.
rubs up against you,
you don't feel it.
follows you everywhere you go,
but you don't see it.
yells at you tells you your dumb,
you still can't hear.
stopped showering,
you still can't smell.
spits in your food,
you still can't taste.
slaps you in the face,
you still can't feel.
finally walks away
and you cry
you slowly die
it wasn't a lie
but now... you don't even get to say goodbye
