Unconditional

The last thing you remember was the whispering from your lovers lips.
They spoke, “I love you”.
You cried, and died inside.
You looked at her beautiful bright face turn to a pale shade.
You knew she was fading.
You looked at your clothes and see her blood.
In your right hand was a knife.
The knife that just slid across her throat.
She is gone now and there is nothing you can do.
You KILLED her.
She was your only hope.
You are lost now.
You run to her room to find a young man.
Whom you thought she was cheating with.
You found no one.
The bed was even made.
You run to her.
You hold her.
You grip the knife and slit your wrist.
You watch the blood flow.
You see a light.
You see her in it.
And the last thing she said was
The first thing she said in heaven.
