I Was Kissed Where The Butterfly Lands...

by Weeping Wolf   Aug 1, 2006

I Was Kissed Where The Butterfly Lands

I stared in awe at this place of memory
Full of grace and reminiscing serenity
by the garden green swing in the backyard
where grass blades glisten like glass shards.

I remember where we kissed and held hands
under the tree where the butterfly lands
A picture in my mind of us standing there
Alone together that night in the stars' care

I stood there gazing into your perfect eyes
surrounded by this garden, bursting to life!

and the walks we shared together
into the park...i remember.
laying together in the grass
under the willow trees, letting pass
the children and animals and people
loving freely before we were too old
and above the moon and clouds swirled
abandoning time, forgetting the world.

laying there staring into your moonlight eyes
surround by your emotion, bringing me to life!

Ahh, young love...this takes me back.It literally made me feel years younger and remember how it all feels. But you never get too old for love, as I have found.Still young love is a beautiful thing.I love the images and emotion you poured into this.
