With Arms Wide Open

Until this life is over
we must stand with arms wide open
for every single thing
that might ever come

we are dishonest
we bottle it up
we lie & lie & lie
to not hurt anyone

but until this life is over
we must stand with arms wide open
for every person
that might every come

time goes by as we struggle
with things that don\'t matter
while we forget the questions
the questions of life

To Accept opinions and take them over
seems to be what I must
but I don\'t stand no longer with
my arms wide open full of trust

I don\'t care no longer
after trying this much
I\"m so tired of getting it back
into my arms to be hurt
